Apple's SCSI Cards

Apple manufactures many parts of computer and electronics. There are many computer parts available in market manufactured by apple. SCSI cards are one of the parts, manufactured by Apple. There are both external and internal SCSI cards available in market, manufactured by Apple. SCSI cards increases the capability of G3 and G4. It you add the SCSI part then download the SCSI driver is necessary. The most effective and popular SCSI part is Adaptec 2906 2 port SCSI card. It helps to run your Zip drive or scanner up to 6 times faster than a parallel port connection with SCSI Card. The maximum transfer rate in these cards is 20 mb/sec. The SCSI 1, SCSI 2 and ultra narrow cards are supported by apple. These cards are of 50 pin standard plug internal connector and also 50 pin high density external connector. The maximum devices attached to these cards, internally or externally are 7. These cards have 32 bit bus system. Single channel cards are used in power Macintosh G3. The maximum transfer rate in these cards is 80 mb/sec. The Ultra2 LVD cards are supported by apple. These cards are of 68 pin high density ultra2 internal connector and 68 pin high density external connector. The maximum devices attached to these cards, internally or externally are 15. These cards have 32 bit bus system. Dual channel card version1 are used in power Macintosh G3. The maximum transfer rate in these cards is 80 per channel. The SCSI 1, SCSI 2, ultra narrow, ultra wide and ultra2 LVD cards are supported by apple. These cards are of 68 pin high density internal and external connector. The maximum devices attached to these cards, internally or externally are 30. These cards have 64 bit bus system. The functionality of dual channel card version 2 is slightly different to dual channel card version 1. There are various SCSI cards available but most preferable card by the people are RamFAST Rev.
